VAISALA WXT520 MANUAL

Weather transmitter Vaisala WXT520 is a small and lightweight transmitter that offers six weather parameters in one compact package.  WXT520 measures wind speed and direction, precipitation, atmospheric pressure, temperature and relative humidity.  The housing is IP65/IP66 rated.

Autoweather

Autoweather is the traditional software for reading weather data into an MS Access database.  Autosync then transfers this data to the Quikslope5/6 database.

Autoserver

Autoserver is now the better option for using with GeoMoS and a DTM or Vaisala weather station.  GeoMoS does not report rainfall correctly when used directly to the Vaisala.  So we can set GeoMoS up to think that Autoserver is a Vaisala or a DTM weather station.  Autoserver will automatically recognise what GeoMoS is requesting and answr the correct weather data back to GeoMoS.

Autoserver has some special functions.

Get weather data from approved weather station

  • Get weather data from a database
  • Broadcast weather to GeoMoS in two different formats, depending upon the request string
  • Can handle up to 10 GeoMoS clients requesting weather data
  • Store a history of broadcast data
  • Recognise when weather data is old and then ignore any GeoMoS requests for weather data.

AUTOSERVER MANUAL

Autoserver is a stand-alone program that will get weather data from a source and broadcast that weather over a Windows socket when requested.  It is typically used to use with Geomos, using more hardware types.

MINI SHELTER

This shelter is only 1 metres x 0.6 metre. It is adjustable for height to fit most pillar size situations. These units are cyclone rated. They have a rear door (not shown) and a front blast door. The roof is made from refrigeration cladding.

Why AGM Batteries?
